STIX Durchflussmesstechnik GmbH uses a live chat from Userlike UG (limited liability), Probsteigasse 44-46, 50670 Cologne, Germany. If a user takes advantage of this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us. The legal basis for the use and the associated data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR - our legitimate interest in effective customer care and statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization purposes. The purpose of data processing is to operate the live chat system, which is used to answer live support requests.

By calling up the website www.stix-flowmeter.de or www.stix-flowmeter.com, the chat widget is loaded in the form of a JavaScript file. The chat widget technically represents the source code that runs on your computer and enables chat.

You can use the live chat like a contact form to chat with our employees almost in real time. When starting the chat, the following personal data may arise:

• Date and time of the call

• Location

• And if specified: first name, last name, and email address

The information about your use and related data of the live chat are collected, stored and processed on Userlike servers in Germany.

The connection between the operator and the visitor is encrypted. You can end the live chat at any time.

In addition, STIX Durchflussmesstechnik GmbH saves the history of the live chats for a period of 30 days. This serves our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR to ensure the security of our information technology systems, quality assurance or the saving of any extensive explanations that may arise on the history of your request. If you do not want this, you can object to the storage. In this case, the chats are automatically deleted after 30 days.

The storage of chat data also serves the purpose of ensuring the security of our information technology systems. This is also our legitimate interest, which is why processing is permitted under Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR

In order to avoid the storage of user-like cookies, you can set your internet browser in such a way that cookies can no longer be stored on your computer in the future or cookies that have already been stored will be deleted.
