Hand Pumps
GPI hand pumps are high quality, reliable and versatile fuel piston pumps. These hand pumps are for pumping liquids and are characterized by their dual piston design. The liquid is pumped in both - pressure and suction mode. As a result, one of the highest flow rates in the industry is achieved. A UL approved model is also available.
Compatible fluids:
Use with diesel (B20 biodiesel blends), gasoline (E15 alcohol blends), hydraulic fluid, kerosene, and oil (up to 30% by weight).
How does a
hand pump work?
- Flow rate: Up to 189 liters per 100 strokes.
- Maximum working temperature: -29° C to 52° C
- Extendable suction pipe, delivery hose, lockable lever, pipe socket intermediate piece and instructions for use
- Low stage for low volume, low resistance pumps (1/4 gallon) and a high stage for high volume, high resistance pumps (1/2 gallon).
- Lightweight aluminum body provides corrosion resistance and reduces tank stress.
- Lockable handle prevents theft of fluids.
- Plastic suction tube, adjustable from 0.6m up to 1m (0.4m suction tube extension kit, optional).
- Includes 3/4 in (2.44 m) nitrile (Buna-N) fuel delivery hose (Electrically conductive hose (UL listed) with metal nozzle.
- Fits a 2 in. NPT connection.
- U.L.-listed to U.S. and Canadian standards.
Piston pumps are positive displacement pumps. Their principle of operation is simple: a piston is pushed axially into a precisely fitting cylinder and displaces the medium inside. To achieve a continuous delivery process, the cylinder is equipped with two counter-closing valves.
