inline flow meter work?

ATTRIBUTES

  • Standard nominal diameters, DN32 up to DN300 (1 1/4" - 12") and from DN200 up to DN1200 (8" - 48")
  • Flow velosityn range from 0.1 up to 10 m/sec
  • Flow range from 0.15 liters/minute up to 40700 m3/hour
  • Measuring accuracy: ± 0.5% of measured value (with multi-path parallel measurement)
  • Temperature range -20 °C up to 180 °C
  • IP68 version available

 

Ultrasonic flowmeters operate on the principle of measuring the transit time difference of ultrasonic waves traveling in and against the direction of flow of the liquid. (velocity measurement by means of transit time difference) Velosity measurement is based on the measuring of the transit time of ultrasonic signals between two sensors (upstream and downstream). The signal transit time td in flow direction is shorter than the signal transit time against the flow direction tu. The difference between these two transit times is proportional to the average flow velocity along the measurement path.
